This model kit recreates the Japan Ground Self Defense Force Type 16 MCV combat vehicle. Unlike the previous release of this model, this version includes parts that represent the C5 variant which include a winch for towing.
- 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 248mm, width: 85mm.
- C5 variant features winch, turret-rear air conditioning unit, cleaning rod case and guards for the turret-side antennas.
- Build the model with or without a winch.
- Photo-etched parts authentically depict guards attached to the enlarged turret basket. Masking stickers are also included for use in the paint job.
- Includes one full (soldier) and two torso (commander and loader) figures.
- Semi-pneumatic tires feature realistic surface and tread patterns.
- Comes with a choice of two marking options to recreate vehicles from the 4th Company, Armor School Regiment, Camp Komakado (with winch) and the Combat Company, 1st
- Reconnaissance Combat Battalion, Camp Asaka (without winch).

Esta maqueta recrea el vehículo de combate MCV Tipo 16 de las Fuerzas Terrestres de Autodefensa de Japón. A diferencia de la versión anterior de este modelo, esta versión incluye piezas que representan la variante C5 que incluye un cabrestante para remolque.

A 3rd Generation acrylic paint set featuring the six colors essential for painting models of German Army vehicles used in Europe from 1937 until 1944.
RAL 7017 Dunkelbraun and RAL 7021 Dunkelgrau were the standard camouflage colors used in 1937-40.
From 1940, RAL 7021 Dunkelgrau was used as a single camouflage color.
In the spring of 1943, a three color camouflage system was introduced, featuring RAL 7028 Dunkelgelb as the base color and RAL 6003 Olivgrün and RAL 8017 Rotbraun for disruptive patterns.
As the two latter colors were supplied to the troops in form of emulsion paints which could be applied either straight from the container or thinned, variation in color appearance existed.
This is addressed by the inclusion of two different green shades in this set.

It also explains some new techniques that have appeared these last years, mainly to use in modern vehicles but that can be also used in vehicles of all eras. The most complete book for military vehicles edited until now. The materials that make up modern vehicles and weapons have changed considerably since World War II. Materials that were out of the question on a technological and industrial level back then are now commonplace. The use of these new materials and the manufacturing and assembly methods reflect on the way we paint and weather these models; they require a different approach. Like many other things in life, in the end the purpose is to take up new challenges. In this book we present some of those challenges.
Simply essential for the modeller of military vehicles.
