Filters

Enamel-based filter paints for scale modeling are formulated to achieve subtle modifications of base colors or camouflage schemes on vehicles. In some cases, they help break up color uniformity; in others, they unify the finish of different tones.
Filters can be diluted and also removed with White Spirit or odorless turpentine. It is recommended to apply them over previously painted and varnished surfaces, preferably with a satin finish.
