The Nissan 240RS (also known as the BS110) is a Japanese rally car that was first unveiled to the public in 1983. Its limited production run lasted only from 1983 to 1985.
The Nissan 240RS was developed as a highly refined version of the Silvia model, replacing the Nissan Silvia Turbo. Compared to the original, the 240RS was powered by a completely different engine: the FJ24, with a displacement of 2.4 liters and 237 CV, which was developed specifically for rally racing. The car’s body structure was also reinforced, as was its suspension. The steering and braking systems were also upgraded and adapted for rallying. The Nissan 240RS made its debut at the 1983 Monte Carlo Rally and made its final appearance at the Rally of Great Britain in November 1985. In total, the drivers behind the wheel competed in 20 rallies, but did not win any of them.
