The Lamborghini Miura was produced by the Italian brand between 1966 and 1973. The Miura, when it was introduced to the market, was a true supercar characterized by high performance and innovative design. In 1970 a competition version was made on the basis of the sporty Miura through interventions to replace the chassis and suspension to give greater rigidity. Other interventions were made on the engine and braking system. The “Jota,” this was the name by which the competition model was christened, had a power output of 440 hp and outstanding performance. At the request of customers, Lamborghini modified some production SVs with specifications similar to the competition Jota. These cars were identified by the initials SVJ and soon became highly sought after by enthusiasts and experts around the world.
