Limited edition 1/35 scale model kit of the Panzer IV Ausf.D tropical version.
Production of the Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.D began in October 1939 and a total of 232 vehicles were completed until October 1940, with around 30 converted for use in tropical conditions by installing improved ventilation system and sand filters.
A few of these were also fitted with add-on armor on the front and sides of the superstructure.
The 4th and 8th companies of Panzer Regiment 5 belonging to the Deutsches Afrika Korps (DAK) used this variant in combat in North Africa though it was soon superseded by more effective longer-gunned variants.
The exclusive decal sheet printed by Cartograf contains markings for 8 different vehicles that served in North Africa in 1941, including one captured by British troops.

A glass jar with a plastic screw cap is used to purge the airbrush with the cleaner after each use. Thanks to a special filter in the upper part, all impurities and liquid remain in the container. Additionally, the lid is equipped with an airbrush stand.
Cleaners and rods are used to thoroughly clean various elements of airbrushes: tips, nozzles, bodies and other elements. The needle, on the other hand, cleans the inside of the airbrush nozzle or other internal parts of the airbrush, such as the needle guide channel.

The modern American vehicles in Afghanistan and Iraq are becoming a theme that is just as important as the German vehicles from WWII. Many brands of plastic kits are now inclined to produce vehicles from these two theatres of operations, OIF and OEF. This set has been exclusively designed for modelers that make these types of vehicles, they can however be used for subjects of other armies & time periods. These American vehicles tend to have a particular aspect and to achieve these affects the set contains one product for washes and another for the streaking effects. Also included is an 3Gen acrylic base color of one of the most common colors of the American forces in desert zones, the FS 33446. A color faithfully reproduced and lightly softened to compensate for the scale effects.
You can use this color on all your American vehicles and it can be weathered with the 2 weathering effect products included in this set to obtain results very close to that of real vehicles.
