A very appropriate color for desert vehicles painted with a light sand color, especially German tanks from DAK. The basic technique used to weather any type of model is the wash, a classic technique that is still one of the most used techniques in modelling today. Modeling washes are a staple product for enhancing and contrasting model details.
Enamel product. It can be diluted with White Spirit. Shake it well before use.
WASH TECHNIQUE:
Apply the wash using a medium sized round soft paintbrush. Deposit the wash onto your scale model around details, seams and in holes creating fake shadows hi-lighting details. Let the wash dry for about 15 minutes then clean the excess using a brush dampened with Thinner for Washes. Use a fine pointy 00 size brush to apply more refined pin-washes where you feel they might be necessary such as in weld seams and around bolts and rivets
