La ametralladora pesada DShKM de 12,7 mm es sin duda la más famosa de ellas y sólo la M2 Browning estadounidense iguala su popularidad. Curiosamente, ambas ametralladoras pesadas fueron diseñadas antes de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Aunque no es tan famosa como la “Dushka”, la ametralladora sin retroceso SPG-9 de 73 mm también se empleó en numerosos conflictos desde su introducción en servicio en 1962 y todavía puede verse en las filmaciones de la guerra moderna.
The Soviet-manufactured fire support weapons and their licence and unofficial copies were delivered to a plethora of countries during the Cold War and thou- sands of them remain in service around the world until the present day. The DShKM 12,7 mm heavy machine gun is undoubtly the most famous of them and only the American M2 Browning matches its popularity. Interestingly, both these heavy machine guns were designed prior to World War 2. Although not as famous as the “Dushka”, the SPG-9 73 mm recoilless gun was also employed in numerous conflicts since its introduction into service in 1962 and can still be spotted in the footages from the modern warfare.
The AK35005 set combines accurate and detailed renditions of both these weapons coupled with the necessary tripods. Also included in this set are a vehicle post mount which can be used for the chosen gun, spare ammunition belts and projectiles and a number of different ammunition boxes. This offers the modeller a multitude of possibilities for using the components of the set as vehicle armament or stowage, diorama accessories or even the main parts of a small scene depicting almost every conflict that happened during the last few dozens of years.

Enamel Product.
Light rust wash is indicated for rust effects on all kind of surfaces. Perfect for any rust effects on vehicles or accessories. It has a light rusty color, which stands out really well on dark greens giving a great realistic matt finish. It is perfect for amphibious or normal vehicles in wet environments. Also great for doing rusting effects on abandoned vehicles. The basic technique used to weather any type of model is the wash, a classic technique that is still one of the most used techniques in modelling today. Apply the washes after shaking the bottle with a large brush to pick out details and creating shadows.
The excess of the wash can be easily removed with a clean brush and White Spirit.

El lavado de óxido ligero está indicado para realizar efectos de óxido en todo tipo de superficies. Tiene un tono de óxido claro, que destaca muy bien y ofrece un acabado mate muy realista en vehículos o accesorios. Es perfecto para vehículos anfibios o cualquier vehículo en ambientes húmedos. También es excelente para hacer efectos de oxidación en vehículos abandonados.
Aplique el lavado con un pincel de punta redonda y de tamaño mediano. Deposite el lavado en su maqueta alrededor de los detalles, los volúmenes y los paneles para resaltar los detalles. Deje que el lavado seque durante aproximadamente 15 minutos y luego limpie el exceso con un pincel humedecido con White Spirit. Use un pincel de punta fina y tamaño pequeño para aplicar lavados más precisos donde crea que puedan ser necesarios, tal como costuras de soldadura y alrededor de pernos y remaches.
