BUSSING-NAG 500S 1/35

The foundation of the company Bussing goes back to the year 1903. Bussing is considered the oldest German lorry manufacturer. In 1931 Bussing took over AEG daughter NAG and became Bussing-NAG. This company manufactured many lorry types from 1.5 ton to 11.5 tons payload. The Bussing-NAG type 500 was manufactured from 1939 to 1941. Beginning in 1940, it was designated Bussing-NAG type 500 S. It was propelled by a 6 cylinder, 105 HP diesel engine and had a payload of 4.75 tons. The Bussing-NAG type 500 A was developed in the beginning of 1939. It was made in small numbers from late 1940 to 1942. Contrary to the Bussing-NAG type 500 S it had all wheel drive. The Bussing-NAG type 4500 S was the successor model of the Bussing-NAG type 500 S. Outwardly, it looked different, but it was based on the same technology. It was manufactured from 1942 to 1945. Analogically, the Bussing-NAG type 4500 A was the successor model to the Bussing-NAG type 500 A and was latest type of this lorry series. A whole range of simplifications was introduced to serial production of the Bussing-NAG 4500, especially to type 4500 A. Nearly 15,000 units of the type 500 A/S were manufactured until the end of Second World War.

La fundación de la empresa Bussing se remonta al año 1903. Bussing se considera el fabricante de camiones más antiguo de Alemania. En 1931 Bussing adquirió la filial de AEG, NAG, y se convirtió en Bussing-NAG. Esta empresa fabricó muchos tipos de camiones desde 1,5 toneladas hasta 11,5 toneladas de carga útil. El tipo 500 de Bussing-NAG se fabricó de 1939 a 1941. A partir de 1940, se denominó Bussing-NAG tipo 500 S. Estaba propulsado por un motor diesel de 6 cilindros y 105 CV y tenía una carga útil de 4,75 toneladas. El Bussing-NAG tipo 500 A se desarrolló a principios de 1939. Se fabricó en pequeñas cantidades desde finales de 1940 hasta 1942. Al contrario que el Bussing-NAG tipo 500 S, tenía tracción total. El Bussing-NAG tipo 4500 S fue el modelo sucesor del Bussing-NAG tipo 500 S. Exteriormente tenía un aspecto diferente, pero se basaba en la misma tecnología. Se fabricó desde 1942 hasta 1945. Análogamente, el Bussing-NAG tipo 4500 A fue el modelo sucesor del Bussing-NAG tipo 500 A y fue el último tipo de esta serie de camiones. En la producción en serie del Bussing-NAG 4500 se introdujeron toda una serie de simplificaciones, especialmente en el tipo 4500 A. Hasta el final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial se fabricaron casi 15.000 unidades del tipo 500 A/S.
