1/9 BMW R 18 Classic

The BMW R18 is a cruiser-type motorcycle that was first released in 2020. It was designed with the motif of the R5 that appeared in 1936. The newly developed boxer engine has the largest displacement in BMW Motorrad history at 1801cc, and delivers a maximum output of 67kW (91PS) and 158Nm of torque. The R18 Classic is based on this R18 with improved touring suitability. The front wheel diameter has been increased to 19 inches from 16 inches, the width has been increased by 1cm, saddlebags are standard equipment on the left and right sides of the rear seat, and the shape of the muffler has been changed accordingly, making it a model with improved functionality as a cruiser.

In order to reproduce the details of the boxer engine as much as possible, the cylinder parts of the engine are made with a four-sided slide mold. The emblem parts on both sides of the engine are realistically reproduced with photo-etched parts. The front and rear shock absorbers and steering dampers are movable; the open drive shaft moves in conjunction with the rear wheel. La BMW R18 es una motocicleta de tipo cruiser que salió a la venta por primera vez en 2020. Se diseñó con el motivo de la R5 aparecida en 1936. El motor bóxer de nuevo desarrollo tiene la mayor cilindrada de la historia de BMW Motorrad, con 1.801 cc, y ofrece una potencia máxima de 67 kW (91 CV) y 158 Nm de par motor. La R18 Classic se basa en esta R18 con una mayor aptitud para el turismo. El diámetro de la rueda delantera ha aumentado de 16 pulgadas a 19 pulgadas, la anchura se ha incrementado en 1 cm, las alforjas son equipamiento de serie en los lados izquierdo y derecho del asiento trasero, y la forma del silenciador se ha modificado en consecuencia, convirtiéndola en un modelo con una funcionalidad mejorada como cruiser.

Para reproducir al máximo los detalles del motor bóxer, las piezas del cilindro del motor se han fabricado con un molde deslizante de cuatro caras. Las piezas del emblema a ambos lados del motor se han reproducido de forma realista con piezas fotograbadas. Los amortiguadores delanteros y traseros y los amortiguadores de dirección son móviles; el eje de transmisión abierto se mueve junto con la rueda trasera. Se incluyen tres patrones de pintura y sus correspondientes calcas: Negro Tormenta Metalizado, Rojo Marte Metalizado y Manhattan Metalizado Mate.
