Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Air Assault Forces of Ukraine were created in 2017 on the basis of the existing Highly Mobile Landing Troops, which at that time already had its own separate command. According to their purpose, the units and subunits of the Air Assault Forces are divided into airborne and air assault troops; to enhance their strike potential, tank units were added to their composition; in 2022, a separate Jaeger brigade was added. The airborne assault troops are characterized by a high level of combat readiness, mobility, the ability to perform tasks independently in difficult conditions, high motivation, and morale. A special feature of their everyday and ceremonial uniforms is a maroon-colored beret. Since 2014, this army branch has been actively involved in combat operations, first in the southwest, and with the outbreak of full-scale hostilities – in other regions of Ukraine.

Tropas de Asalto Aéreo de las Fuerzas Armadas de Ucrania
Las Fuerzas de Asalto Aéreo de Ucrania se crearon en 2017 sobre la base de las ya existentes Tropas de Desembarco Altamente Móviles, que en aquel momento ya contaban con su propio mando independiente. De acuerdo con su finalidad, las unidades y subunidades de las Fuerzas de Asalto Aéreo se dividen en tropas aerotransportadas y tropas de asalto aéreo; para mejorar su potencial de ataque, se añadieron unidades de tanques a su composición; en 2022, se añadió una brigada Jaeger independiente. Las tropas aerotransportadas de asalto se caracterizan por un alto nivel de preparación para el combate, movilidad, capacidad para realizar tareas de forma independiente en condiciones difíciles, alta motivación y moral. Una característica especial de sus uniformes cotidianos y ceremoniales es una boina de color granate. Desde 2014, esta rama del ejército ha participado activamente en operaciones de combate, primero en el suroeste, y con el estallido de las hostilidades a gran escala – en otras regiones de Ucrania.
