This set features assembly kits of the I-16, the first «Hei Type» large submarine, and the I-58, the first «Otsu Type» long-range reconnaisance submarine. The models depict the I-16 carrying a midget submarine during the Pearl Harbor attack and the I-58 at the time she sank the heavy cruiser USS Indianapolis. Both models feature sharp details such as periscopes and deck guns.

Este conjunto incluye kits de montaje del I-16, el primer submarino grande «Tipo Hei», y el I-58, el primer submarino de reconocimiento de largo alcance «Tipo Otsu».
