What are the features of the late production type!

Developed and manufactured by Kawasaki Aircraft, The Toryu was a twin-engine fighter of the Imperial Japanese Army. Demonstrating its power in the interception of large aircraft, it was very active in the mainland defense battle until the end of the war. With this kit, it is possible to reproduce the Ki-45 Kai Tei (late production type) or the Ki-45 Kai Hei, Tei (Tai-Atari Special Attack Aircraft).

The seemingly simple shape is actually composed of complex and natural shapes in each part. Especially the nose, the circumference of the canopy, the top and bottom of the fuselage, the front side and back side of the fuselage are twisted. In our SWS kit, these features of the exterior are fully reproduced as well as the interior.

A variety of armed variants were abundant, actively adopting large-sized machine cannons. There were 4 variants: A, B, C, & D. Based on the SWS concept, detailed suspension systems devised for each weapon were reproduced. We express our condolences, and made it possible to reproduce this “ramming machine”.

Desarrollado y fabricado por Kawasaki Aircraft, el Toryu fue un caza bimotor del Ejército Imperial Japonés. Demostró su potencia en la interceptación de aviones de gran tamaño y participó muy activamente en la defensa del territorio continental hasta el final de la guerra. Con este kit, es posible reproducir el Ki-45 Kai Tei (tipo de producción tardía) o el Ki-45 Kai Hei, Tei (avión de ataque especial Tai-Atari).

La forma aparentemente simple está compuesta en realidad por formas complejas y naturales en cada pieza. Especialmente el morro, la circunferencia de la cabina, la parte superior e inferior del fuselaje, así como la parte delantera y trasera del fuselaje, presentan formas retorcidas. En nuestro kit SWS, estas características del exterior se reproducen íntegramente, al igual que el interior.

Existían numerosas variantes armadas, que adoptaban activamente cañones automáticos de gran calibre. Había 4 variantes: A, B, C y D. Basándonos en el concepto SWS, se reprodujeron los detallados sistemas de suspensión diseñados para cada arma.
