High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula and color accuracy superior to other brands in the market.

Flows smoothly in an airbrush; adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds firmly all kind of weathering products.

May be diluted with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints.

Used for painting vehicles and other equipment of the German Army in the so-called first tropical scheme (Tropen 1) intended for use in Africa from March 1941 until March 1942.

According to the army regulations RAL 7008 should cover 1/3 of vehicle’s surface in form of irregular patches with soft edges, with the remainder being painted in RAL 8000.
Both the photographic and documentary evidence confirms that vehicles painted in tropical colors also found use on the Eastern Front. This includes 38 Tiger I tanks issued to Grossdeutschland division, SS-LAH, SS-Das Reich, and SS-Totenkopf divisions from December 1942 to February 1943 which were painted in the first tropical scheme similarly to the Tiger tanks issued to North Africa.

Utilizado para pintar vehículos y otros equipos del ejército alemán en el llamado primer esquema tropical (Tropen 1) destinado a ser utilizado en África desde marzo de 1941 hasta marzo de 1942.

Según el reglamento del ejército, el RAL 7008 debía cubrir 1/3 de la superficie del vehículo en forma de parches irregulares con bordes suaves, y el resto debía pintarse con el RAL 8000.
Tanto las pruebas fotográficas como las documentales confirman que los vehículos pintados con colores tropicales también se utilizaron en el Frente Oriental. Esto incluye 38 carros Tiger I enviados a las divisiones Grossdeutschland, SS-LAH, SS-Das Reich, y SS-Totenkopf desde diciembre de 1942 a febrero de 1943 que fueron pintados en el primer esquema tropical de forma similar a los carros Tiger enviados al norte de África.
