The Czechoslovak LT vz.35 light tank was set up and built during the 1930s. Armed with two machine guns and a 37 mm. cannon, it was a reliable and effective vehicle for the time. It also had good speed over all types of terrain and a fair range.It was in fact employed, under the new name Panzerkampfwagen 35(t), where the letter t indicated Czechoslovakian production,by the German Wehrmacht, which used a good number of them in the Panzerwaffe actively participating in the Polish campaign, the French campaign and the early stages of Operation Barbarossa. By 1941 the tank, no longer up to operational needs, was used for second-line tasks or given to allied nations such as Bulgaria and Romania.
