The X-wing (also known as the Incom T-65) is a space fighter from the Star Wars universe that fights in the ranks of the Rebellion. It first appeared on screen in the film “Star Wars: A New Hope” (part I or IV of the saga). Standard armament consists of four laser cannons on the wingtips and two proton torpedo launchers. Vehicle length is 12.5 metres. Drive is provided by four ion engines. The X-Wing also has manoeuvring and stabilisation engines.

The X-wing was designed and produced largely at Incom as a long-range development of the Z-95 fighter. It should be noted that pilots of this type of fighter could almost always count on the assistance of the astromech droids R2 and R4 on combat missions. Fighters of this type formed the backbone of the Rebel forces during the Battle of Yavin (year O ABY), and it was this type of fighter that Luke Skywalker flew during the attack on the Death Star during the battle. X-Wing fighters also performed very well during the Battle of Endor (Year 4 DBY).

El Ala-X (también conocido como Incom T-65) es un caza espacial del universo de Star Wars que lucha en las filas de la Rebelión. Apareció por primera vez en la pantalla en la película “Star Wars: Una nueva esperanza” (parte I o IV de la saga). El armamento estándar consiste en cuatro cañones láser en las puntas de las alas y dos lanzadores de torpedos de protones. La longitud del vehículo es de 12,5 metros. La propulsión la proporcionan cuatro motores de iones. El Ala-X también dispone de motores de maniobra y estabilización.

El Ala-X fue diseñado y producido en gran parte en Incom como un desarrollo de largo alcance del caza Z-95. Cabe destacar que los pilotos de este tipo de caza podían contar casi siempre con la ayuda de los droides astromecánicos R2 y R4 en las misiones de combate. Los cazas de este tipo formaron la columna vertebral de las fuerzas rebeldes durante la batalla de Yavin (año O ABY), y fue este tipo de caza el que pilotó Luke Skywalker durante el ataque a la Estrella de la Muerte durante la batalla. Los cazas X-Wing también funcionaron muy bien durante la Batalla de Endor (año 4 DBY).
