1/48 German Luftwaffe Crew w/ Kettenrad

This is a figure model kit created by the Ukrainian kit maker ICM. This version takes the standard kit and powers it up by adding Tamiya accessories and instructions. The kit itself recreates crew from the Luftwaffe, the famed WWII German air arm which of course included not only pilots but also a whole range of recruits in supporting roles. They served in some harsh winter climates, necessitating warm clothes such as pilots’ jackets with fur collar (often the pilot’s own), and thick sheepskin overcoats for those on sentry duty. The Kettenkraftrad 3-meter half-track was something like a hybrid motorcycle with a single front wheel and used its 1.5-liter engine to tow aircraft, carry bombs and more.

Este es un kit de modelo de figura creado por el fabricante de kits ucraniano ICM. Esta versión toma el kit estándar y lo enciende agregando accesorios e instrucciones de Tamiya. El kit en sí recrea a la tripulación de la Luftwaffe, el famoso brazo aéreo alemán de la Segunda Guerra Mundial que, por supuesto, incluía no solo a los pilotos sino también a toda una gama de reclutas en roles secundarios. Sirvieron en algunos climas invernales duros, lo que requería ropa abrigada, como chaquetas de piloto con cuello de piel (a menudo el del piloto) y abrigos gruesos de piel de oveja para los que estaban de guardia. El semioruga Kettenkraftrad de 3 metros era algo así como una motocicleta híbrida con una sola rueda delantera y utilizaba su motor de 1,5 litros para remolcar aviones, transportar bombas y más.
