About the Leopard 2 A5
The Leopard 2 is the main battle tank of the German Army and has the most powerful performance among modern tanks. The A5 is its latest version which will surely last well into the 21st century. It features add-on wedge-shaped armor on the front and sides of the turret, electric main gun stabilizer, etc. With these, defense and commander’s firing control systems have been significantly improved on the A5 version, which started to be deployed to the German Army at the end of 1995.

El Leopard 2 es el tanque de batalla principal del ejército alemán y tiene el rendimiento más poderoso entre los tanques modernos. El A5 es su última versión que seguramente durará hasta el siglo XXI. Cuenta con armadura adicional en forma de cuña en la parte delantera y laterales de la torreta, estabilizador de pistola principal eléctrico, etc. Con estos, los sistemas de control de disparo de defensa y comandante se han mejorado significativamente en la versión A5, que comenzó a implementarse en el Ejército alemán a finales de 1995.
