Skoda LT Vz35 is a light tank developed by the Czech Army in the mid 1930s. The original prototypes of the tank were produced by Skoda and CKD in 1934. Both prototypes were tested in mid-1935. In the end, the design of the Skoda plant won the competition, and the winning models were jointly put into production in 1936 by the two companies. The Skoda LT Vz35 weighs 10.5 tons and has 3 crew members. The armor is 25mm thick, the main gun is a 37mm and a 7.92mm coaxial machine gun. Until the end of 1936, a total of 298 such tanks were produced for use by the Czech army. In addition, 136 of these tanks were exported to Romania, Afghanistan and Bulgaria. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia in March 1938, the German army renamed the Skoda LT Vz35 light tank as a 35 (T) tank and put it into service in its army. This tank is widely used in combat operations against Poland, France and Russia. Most are equipped with the former armored divisions (Poland and France) and the sixth armored division in Russia. The tank was retired in early 1942, and 26 vehicles were sold to Romania, some of which were converted into tow trucks and delivery vehicles.
